EFPOLIT, nezávislá nezisková organizácia bola založená študentmi Fakulty politických vied a medzinárodných vzťahov UMB v Banskej Bystrici v roku 1998. Cieľom jej zakladateľov bolo predovšetkým šírenie povedomia o francúzskom jazyku a kultúre, politike a postavení Francúzska predovšetkým prostredníctvom organizovania prednášok a podujatí v spolupráci s fakultou. Postupom času sa k aktivitám EFPOLIT-u pridali aj organizovanie podujatí veľkého charakteru (medzinárodné konferencie: ISA 2005, VY4 Conference), organizovanie kultúrnych večerov, vydávanie publikácií a zborníkov, doučovanie francúzskeho jazyka, členstvo v niekoľkých medzinárodných združeniach (Politeia network,VY4), spolupráca s ambasádou Francúzskej republiky na Slovensku, spolupráca s Alliance française a inými neziskovými organizáciami na Slovensku i v zahraničí a takisto i charitatívna činnosť. Vďaka aktivitám a úsiliu členov EFPOLIT-u bola UMB v Banskej Bystrici v roku 2006 prijatá do Univerzitnej Agentúry Frankofónie ( Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie) ako jediná na Slovensku.

Členovia EFPOLIT-u sú stále predovšetkým študenti fakulty, ktorí popri štúdiu pracujú na svojom odbornom raste prostredníctvom mimoškolských aktivít a práce v študentskom spolku. Majú možnosť získavať skúsenosti s komunikáciou na vysokej úrovni (zastupiteľstvá a pracovníci zastupiteľstiev jednotlivých štátov na Slovensku, novinári, odborníci a analytici, pracovníci ministerstiev SR...), taktiež svojimi domácimi medzinárodnými kontaktmi poskytuje spolok svojim členom možnosti zúčastňovať sa podujatí na Slovensku i v zahraničí.

V priebehu akademického roka členovia Asociácie aktívne participujú na akciách organizovaných fakultou, či na činnostiach spojených so študentskou mobilitou. Popri inom, v období Vianoc členovia každoročne organizujú charitatívny zber hračiek pre detské domov v Banskej Bystrici.

Naša veľká vďaka patrí najmä Fakulte politických vied a medzinárodných vzťahov UMB v Banskej Bystrici, ktorá je nám oporou a partnerom pri podujatiach, ktoré organizujeme.

L´Association des étudiants francophones EFPOLIT a été créée comme l´organisation indépendante non-bénéficiare en 1998 par des étudiants de la Faculté des Sciences Politiques et Relations Internationales à l´Université Matej Bel. L´objectif de ses fondateurs était surtout la propagation de la langue et culture française, la politique et la position de la France sur la scène internationale à travers l´organisation des conférences et autres entretients en coopérant avec la faculté. Les activités de l´association se sont progressivement élargies aux conférences du caractère important (conférence internationale ISA 2005, conférence de V4), aux discussions avec des lecteurs français sur les événements actuels, à la publication des recueils, à l´organisation des soirées françaises, de même qu´aux activités charitables. EFPOLIT est membre de plusieurs corporations internationales comme Politeia Network et V4. On coopère avec l´Ambassade française en Slovaquie et les ambassades des autres pays francophones, ainsi qu´avec l´Alliance française et d´autre associations indépendantes même à l´étranger. Même grâce aux activités d´EFPOLIT, l´Université Matej Bel a été acceptée en 2006 à l´Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie comme la seule en Slovaquie.

Les membres d´EFPOLIT sont les étudiants de la faculté qui veulent à côté des études se développer dans la vie professionnelle à travers leur activité dans l´association. Cela leur permet d´obtenir des expériences avec la communication à haut niveau (avec les ambassades, ministères, journalistes, spécialistes et analystes dans la domaine des sciences politiques et diplomatie). L´Association offre à ses membres la chance de participer aux conférences internationales tenues même à l´étranger, dans les différentes métropoles mondiales.

EFPOLIT, the Association of francophone students, was founded as an independent non-profit organization in 1998 by students of the Faculty of Political Science and International Relations of Matej Bel University. The main aim of its founders was to spread the awareness of the French language, culture, policy and position of France on the international scene through different conferences and events organized in cooperation with the faculty. EFPOLIT later enlarged its activity by organizing events of greater character (international conferences: ISA 2005, V4 conference), publication activities, translation of scientific articles, tutorage of French language, discussions with French lectures about actual events, French evenings and charity. EFPOLIT is a member of several international organizations (Politeia Network, V4). We cooperate with the embassies of the French republic and other francophone countries, as well as with the French Alliance and other non-profit organizations in Slovakia or abroad. Thanks to the activity and effort of our members, Matej Bel University was admitted to the University Agency of the francophony in 2006 as the only one of Slovakia.

Our members are students of the Faculty, who want to work on their professional and personal development through the active membership in the Association. They have a possibility to gain unique experience and improve the level of communication (with the embassies, ministries, journalists, experts and analytics in the political science and diplomacy). Moreover, our members have the opportunity to participate in the international conferences in different world metropolises.
